The CAS Writing Center offers one-on-one appointments free of charge to students with papers from Writing Program courses (CAS WR courses) and most other courses that fulfill the First-Year Writing and Writing, Research, & Inquiry Hub units. Students in these courses can book one 45-minute appointment per week using this online scheduling system. They can also book an appointment by phone by calling 617-358-1500 during business hours, or by coming in person to the front desk of the CAS Writing Center, located on the third floor of 100 Bay State Road.
In-person appointments take place in the Writers’ Studio on the 3rd floor of 100 Bay State Road. Remote appointments are conducted via video chat, and students can attend these from any quiet, private location of their choosing. Students can select which type of appointment they prefer using our online scheduling system.
The CAS Writing Center also provides support for students in other CAS courses on a same-day drop-in basis. To request a drop-in appointment for a non-WR CAS class, please use this form.
